6/14 - Battle Readiness Class w/ Jasper
Competition/Performance Readiness Class will be held on:
Saturday, 6/14 | 1-2:30pm
Jasper’s description of the class:
In this unique class we'll be covering everything surrounding a competitive/performing atmosphere. Including competitive (but still friendly) mentality, what the environment will look & feel like, how to properly prepare for such occasions, & how to undergo them with absolute confidence & internal stability. That's right, it's an emotional/mental rollercoaster as much as it is a physical one! If you want to get into the competitive culture of any style of dance, all of the knowledge we'll be reviewing will be vital information to optimize your initial experience. Arrive to class as a novice & leave feeling well established!
Class Curriculum:
-Quick overview of competitive dance environments (we'll cover everything you're probably already thinking in your head)
-Q&A following that overview where you have a moment to ask any questions that arose during elaboration of the competitive/performing experience
-Tips & tricks to feel like you have all the knowledge & experience to smoothly enter a competition or performance, calmly perform at your best & walk away proud of yourself

About your instructor:
Jasper Sanchez is a traveling shuffle performer, choreographer, and instructor based out of the Bay Area, California. He is passionate about spreading his love for mixing styles in dance, and expressing your individuality through unique combinations of movement. He was a part of the professional shuffle team Shuffolution and an America’s Got Talent semi-finalist in 2021.

BRING WATER - There is no water fountain at the studio and you will want to stay hydrated!
There is a small lot for the studio, and plenty of free street parking in the surrounding area.
There are no refunds, however, ticket transfers ARE allowed. Once the registration has been made, it is the student’s responsibility to arrive at class and be on time. There will be no makeups for missed time.
