This all-levels House Dance class will cover basic House fundamentals to get you experimenting and exploring in this new groove - no experience needed!
Come practice new footwork and musicality techniques, learn about the history and culture of House Dance, and have fun creating a smooth, whole-body flow that you can translate over to add a new level of flare and polish to your shuffling.
Janu is an accomplished dancer with a diverse style and a big heart. His authenticity shines through his dancing, and his teaching style is extremely welcoming and accepting. His class will push you to learn, but also challenge you to show up as your own true self and to fall in love with your own process. He will treat you with sprinkles of deeper wisdom all throughout class, and you will leave feeling elevated on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.
Prerequisites: This class is suitable for total beginners, no prerequisites are required.

There are no refunds for missed classes. Once the reservation has been purchased, it is the students responsibility to arrive at class and be on time. Missed time will not be made up in order to keep the rest of the class moving on schedule.

Make sure to bring water. There is no water fountain at the studio and you’re gonna be getting your sweat on!
There is a mixture of free and paid street parking surrounding the studio, and a paid lot right across the street.
